How to view captioning with
Windows Media Player
In order to view captioning, a Windows media file
needs to include a SAMI (Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange) file. Video
clips on the HiSoftware site include these files by default.
Next, you need to configure Windows Media Player to show the captioning.
For Windows Media Player 7.0/7.1/8.0:

After you have the files selected, you are now ready
to test.
Click on the Verify button to test the pages. If you
wish to verify files and keep the results separate from future results, select
Verify All as Report Group, enter in a name of your report group and click Ok.
AccVerify will test the pages, and then generate HTML
reports for the results.
The results will appear in the tree in the reports
view.
Accessibility reports will appear in the top, with
site quality reports next, and optionally, the alt text quality reports after.
Navigate through the tree to view the reports for the files that were tested.
